Just a note for those who would be interested : I have personally seen this bike and it is FANTASTIC. V12 has maintained the bike better than any man I know can keep his machine (myself included). Its painstakingly waxed and cleant every sunday and believe this or not...you wont be able to tell it from a brand new example.
It has got to be the best maintained 2002 Eliminator there is.
GTO
Hey thanks for the compliment GTO. :)
huh!
u selling ur bike?
so that makes me the official replacement owner of ur msn and yahoo kawasaki elim forums!?!? ;-D !!??
one thing that i would say is the guy or gal who buys v12's bike is really lucky, they are virtually getting a new bike there!
Well , agree that the bike is in the best of condition , but is the price justified ?( I know owners dont like bargaining , since they know their stuff better), especially when Bajaj has officially announced that they are coming up with a new Eliminator with the P150 and the P180 engines with the price cut being nearly 20k, Now that brings the new Eliminator 180 to 75k onroad Mumbai.
I think these will be out by around MAy 2005.
So V12 , u better sell it off b4 the new Eliminator with P180 engine is out.
Along with the 20K price cut in the new Eliminator there is also a 50% quality cut. Chk out any of the 2001-2 Eliminator and compare it with the 2004 ones. I guess the 65L price is justified. I paid around 92K on road in 2002. I know prices of the Elim have come down, but wait till u take a look at my bike. will post some pics later.
P.S : My bike celebrates its 3rd Birthday today. Happy Birthday dear.
this has got to be the best maintained bike in mumbai by far,my heart skips a beat whenever i see ur elim, the problem is i do not want a cruiser otherwise i wud had gone ahead and bought it myself.v12 ur hardwork shows on the bike man i really admire it,inspirational stuff this and yea many happy returns of the day to ur bike ;-)
NIce bike V12. I totally agree the P-180 is a crappy engine+gearbox compared to the original kawasaki japanese engine agree:
However rest of the bike remains the same as before.
hey v12
why do u wanna sell it?
dont hink any other bikes in the market are worth it expect the new bulls
with a price like that you'll need all the luck you can get dude!
yeah so far from what i have seen this has to be the best maintained bike but V12 how many will be willing to sheel out an amnt for a 3 year old bike which is close to the new one's price. no doubt on ur bike's condition but the people who go for 2nd hand look for max value for money & where money is less & value is max ;)
neways hope u get ur price :)
Now that is a beautifully maintained bike there. Its shining throughout, right from the body to the tires.Very well kept indeed.

V12 , All agreed that Bike is the best of lot( even agree that the quality of earlier eliminators was better than current ones) , but still think u will definately need some luck to sell it at that price if the New Eliminator is launced .
Imagine yrself , new for 75k , and 3 yr old used for 65k , now does it look justified?
VEry few ppl will care for the JApanese engine at that point of time.
