5th Gear Talks about Nano

Just read the blog called Cars and More. There is a article about 5th gear mentioning about the Nano. Anyone seen the episode. I am currently downloading it. Its great to know that Tats's are being mentioned internationally by programs like 5th gear.

There is a picture of Tom Ford holding a pic of the Nano on the link below and where i read about 5th gear talking about the Nano.

Cars, Bikes & Lots More: Fifth Gear talks about Tata Nano

Download to the latest 5th gear is here Cars, Bikes & Lots More: Fifth Gear - [13x09]

Its good to know the Nano is going places even before its launch.

Go Tata Go

Mentioned or not, I doubt if the TATA's will like what JC and co have to say.

Would love to see them thrash the nano on track though.

I didn't know Jeremy Clarkson featured on Fifth Gear. I thought it was Tiff Needels and those two other guys and the girl. I like their reviews better than JC's.

Top gear is currently off-air. JC wouldn't wanna be seen dead on a 5th gear episode!

Apart from the comic angle, not much JC brings in. I prefer the 5th gear show anyday.

Good for you! I, on the other hand, cannot stand the numb-nuts on 5th gear.

If it was made in britain,JC would go ga ga over the simple engineering, cost cutting,etc..
Now that its made in India, he'll have something to add like the Fifth gear guy says"A bath tub with wheels on"

Remember what Captain Slow had to say about the City Rover (aka Tata Indica)? Those guys ripped into it faster and more vicious than a school of piranhas would do into a roasted boar!! Would love to hear what they say about the Nano.

By the way, as far as which I like, Top Gear any day!! Somehow, I just cant stand 5th Gear. I dont know if it is the presenters' dead pan expression or Vicki Butler-Hendersen's irritating voice. Pity Tiff isn't still with Top Gear.

Im waiting for JC to comment on Tata's takeover of Rangerover + Jag.
All this while he is anything but praises for anything which is British built. Lets see what he has to say now .

Yeah I have seen the episode just yesterday. Tom Ford and VBH are talking about the Nano as it'll be on sale for 1500 quid in UK (if ever, since it would never meet the emissions and safety standards there). Ford is holding one of the press pictures that was given to all journos at the Expo. (Yellow top-end variant with a blue background)

Then what Johnny does is really interesting. He tries to find three second hand buys for under 1500 quid which are slightly(?!) more involving than a new Nano. He was able to find a Pug 406 coupe, an Audi coupe GT and an Alfa GTV coupe. Each of them costed under the 1500 quid bracket the same what one would pay for a 34 pony Nano. Tom also said that all niche vehicles will invariably hold their value better than another family car, which is true.
