This surely is a VW work on a golf,

I have a similiar pic on the VW Beetle.

This has been their (VW's) best photo setup on all their cars.

Putting it together would be lot of fun.

They Bonnet and the hatch are still attached to the body shell. So it isn't completely disassembled.
