this rain is ridiculously fabulous...
You can say that again. Had a light drizzle in Mumbai the day before, though I simply can't wait for the full-on monsoon season.

It was long time since I had driven in so much of rain. The visibility was really zilch yesterday while it was raining so much. The entire Rose Garden Road (from South end till the dead end ) is half occupied by the Bangalore Metro people and it was some bad time negotiating that stretch.

But, rain has its own charm. Bangalore resembles a hill station these days. This is in spite of what we are doing to the trees.

it was neither the ground clearance nor the weight, but the ripples of water that were thrown to my side by passing vehicles. Since it was a two lane road, vehicles coming on the other side created huge waves of water which came to me and other vehicles passing by and hence , we had to "wade" through.

On a serious note, I do think Indigo has a much better GC to handle bangalore roads ?

Simply fantastic weather! Few things match the experience of driving in the rains, or hanging out with family / friends and non-stop supply of piping hot onion bhajiyas!

This year comes with a bonus : A drive on the Bandra-Worli Sealink.

Is the Team-Bhp clan planning an Inaugural Bandra - Worli Sealink drive.?

Nice to see the clan come together on a rather epic structure, by modern constucrtion standards.

Congratulations Mumbai!

We are waiting for rain since 1st June. People announced that this time monsoon is expected to arrive early. I am yet to see rain that is continuous for atleast two minutes. People say that if one specific bird lays its eggs at a specific height, that much amount of water will come. Since last two years I am hearing that rain is good, but I have rarely seen 10 inch rain within 24 hours in my city since 2006.

Looks are deceiving! :(

Same looks, but a slight rain for 30 minutes, an hour back was all that came.

The looks are still the same. Sigh...

First Pre-Monsoon Shower 2010

Today, when I started from office, I noticed a lot of clouds. I got a feeling of "What if it rains, It would be just awesome". After Sachin scoring his double century, Breaking the long lasted record. It was an elevated feeling when I started to drive. Picked my wife and when we were on the Elevated highway on Hosur Road. There was a sudden sprinkle of water. I thought it must be the windshield spray of the car moving in front.

Surprise!!! The rain started to lash. Within seconds, the road was wet, the windshield was covered with huge drops of rain.

After the mercury soaring for so many days now, It was such a welcome break. The heart filled with joy seeing the rain. It was such a wonderful feeling.

Here are few snaps...
