Luckly for me, i got home before the rain started. that is the only way nowadays... Once it starts raining.. it will be a totally different story... And this is just the starting... the rains are here to stay and get better...

Another major issue is the falling of trees, it scares the hell out of me to pork the car were there are lots of trees during the rainy season...

Bangalore is surely going to claim the title of the worst return on a tax payers income. Just a few minutes of rains and so many parts of the city turn into a mini swimming pool. Its not that only newly constructed areas this is seen, but places where it happens year after year, what is the excuse? The entire ORR was a huge jam till about 7:30PM yesterday, it was a sad scene.
And this after the raise in VAT that the govt has made. Where is all the money going? Into a big black hole! Sorry to sound a tad negative, but a serious shake up may only wake up corrupt morons. Maybe should take the CM on a drive each time it rains and let him feel the frustration of a jam that is ONLY because water has not gone where it should go- drains.

On May 30th evening I happened to walk to into the balcony of my 8th floor apartment in Bangalore and see this. No it was not raining in my area, but I could see it was raining heavily elsewhere.

HTC phone camera sucks, I am on my 3rd HTC phone, so I know.

This was shot in Olympus E3 + 12-60mm lens.
