Glad the monsoon's here, finally.

Its not the monsoon yet. Pre-monsoon showers triggered by the meeting of the North Westerly hot winds hitting the cool south westerly monsoon winds. The SW winds have to beat back the North westerly ones to bring in the Monsoon. This year though winds are in place uptil Karwar, moisture is getting sucked away by a low pressure in the western arabian sea.. So a quiet SW monsoon start this year.

I can imagine. Roads are their slippery best just after the first showers; even my Vtec was sliping and sliding all over the place. A simple enthusiastic nudge on the accelerator and the front wheels started dancing. Was fun though

I think we should come up with an article on safe driving in the monsoons.

yes it did, again in july 2006. not that bad but my house from inside again had water 5 inches or so and outside around 3 feet of water. i wonder if i should make a thread on that

Make a thread Arya.... 2008- Predict the amount of water in my house. Winnners get soaked LCD TV, Deck, etc...
