The rains hit Mumbai pretty hard last night; in fact, flooding has already begun. My lane (right by the ocean) was filled with 2 - 3 feet of water the entire night. Our cars are parked inside the building and hence, were safe. Those parked on the street were ruined.

Apparently, an M800 skidded off the JJ Flyover and fell below

Yes, its raining. Love long drives.
But fuel @ 55/ltr in mumbai wonder how far. Guess they have hiked the the price knowing that on the onset of monsoon, people would be off to long drives, so squeeze them then.

I read in a newspaper that 62 accidents have happened on the Eastern Express Highway in 2 days since it started raining.

Also flooding was reported in Juhu just with 15 minutes of rainfall.

God help Mumbai !

i was in dharamshala on 4th and 5th of june, it rained so heavily on 5th june, with hailstorm, had to stop under a tree with fear of cracking windshield ( i already have minor crack on windshield of my wagonR), thoroughly enjoyed the climate and drive in and around dharamshala and kangra with heavy downpour.

it was one of the great outing in the recent past i have had, will write in travelogue forum with pics soon

Hey enjoy the weather guys. Its become pleasant (cool actually) in Bangalore too . Nice cool breeze. Feels awesome after a pathetic 10 days or so of 32+ degrees. Heard it drizzled last night here too.

edit : Oh yeah, drive safe too

Rained a wee bit in Powai Hiranandani, but that's it.
All accompanying winds and tree noise accompanied, its if you blinked you missed it.

Cy, the 24/7 phenomenon is lost on you ? are you excited by the rains ?
