It has been very pleasant weather in Chennai too for the past 2 days (since Monday) and we even had a few showers and some really light drizzles. Very welcome given that even before February ended, summer was picking up in earnest.

Weather in Hyd too has been less than hot compared to last weeks!!
Blame it on Global warming or anything...but to educate a kid offlate about seasons on a calendar has been a uphill task!! Till then...enjoy the pleasant climate!!

We at Panvel got rains yesterday morning at 4.30 AM, rather heavy with lightening. A moderate version played out in the night too at around 8 P.M.
The only benefit is that vegetation around got cleaned of dust and the trees must be breathing easy for few days

It's raining in Bangalore!!

Awesome weather!

There is the smell of wet earth right now. Smells really heavenly. I'm loving it!

IT's the best best thing EVER. Rain during summer. Suddenly, the world seems to come alive. Everyone's mood starts to lift. Spirits soar! The only sad part is, power usually isnt there.

Yesterday midnight it was raining heavily in Manipal. I could hear it loudly as I was working on the OTR travelogue.

It is pretty typical of Bangalore. The moment temperature raises to around 34-35, you can expect some rain within a week or so. Thankfully, it is still the same, despite of our efforts to rip this beautiful city of its greenery.

C V Raman Nagar is as dry as Gujarat.

No, not in terms of spirit. My truck could use a shower.

First time that I'm in bangalore on a permanent basis... and I find the climate very interesting. There were time, when I was in cochin that we would pray for rains to come when the temp rose, but it never came. That way I like Bangalore

Not Spirit wise, I suppose ?

Hang in there, Hrishi. May be a quick one to the strains of 'How I wish it would rain down .. ' should the trick.

I heard that it has been rather warm the past couple of days.I just love it when it rains in B'lore.Lots and lots of memories associated with the way everything looks, once it rains.I remember how it used to be in June/July with the monsoons, and the drop in temperature would make everything look so nice. The 'gulmohar' in full bloom, etc. Bliss!
(Its just the same now in Houston,so that makes me all the more nostalgic! Overcast, pleasent weather and a hot cup of tea to go with it!)
