Torrential rains in Kuala Lumpur and I am stranded in Office :( . Its a regular phenomenon in the afternoons here ( the good part is that the unbearable heat pangs lessen to an extent)

It rained whales and dolphins in the far eastern part of the city yesterday between 4 to 6pm. Raindrops were literally being thrown horizontally due to massive gusts of winds. Great repreive from the heat, but alas the sun is back to business today.

Re: The "It's raining in my city" Thread!

Dark clouds were seen in the early morning on the south-west horizon in Chennai. Probably rained heavily at that time in Tambaram/Chengleput ?

Heavy downpour with strong winds and low visibility on a short stretch of OMR (Sholinganallur-Siruseri) , CHENNAI , around 10:00 am today. The clouds have cleared up now.

Interesting observation : huge number of two-wheelers parked neatly along the (abandoned) Shell petrol bunk near Asiana hotel. I was wondering what was happening...then saw the crowd inside the Shell bunk. All those two-wheeler riders had decided to take shelter from the rains in the Shell bunk . The crowd was HUGE.

Any updates from other parts of Chennai ?
