It's actually pouring quite heavily at JP Nagar , Blr too. Heavy rains. Lovely sound to hear from the balcony. And it's been like this for an hour now. No Set top box signals and it's proving to be a good family time over steaming cups of tea.

Continous downpour here in south bangalore from past two hours. Roads near lalbagh are like mini lakes. Loving the rain but hating the slush.

Had nearly 23mm of rain over half an hour or so. Might be more to come.

Re: The "It's raining in my city" Thread!

Got about half a drive full.

But I didn't measure it. There is a guy with a private weather station, on ECR, not too far away, who submits its readings to Weather Underground. I can find out the weather without looking out of the window! Or find out the actual temperature, rainfall figures, etc. Very useful!

Its raining in Mira Road. What a relief from the scorching heat and humidity. The smile is back on face of people who are keeping fast in this Holy month of Ramzaan.

Another day, same result. In fact even worse. The day before yesterday, it rained a little heavily for about an hour and it brought Gurgaon to its knees. People reached home post midnight!

Commute distances? All within 10-20 kms.

For me it took well over 2 hours just to get out of the parking! Watch this to see why, this was the chaos outside -

Re: Heavy rains hit Delhi n NCR this morning (pics)

Year 2016 and situation still same. Roads turned into rivers with rains, traffic situation very bad. So many things change and yet so many still remain same.

When will MCD wake up and do something?

Hyderabad is in a similar state as well. Lots of rains and the streets have become lakes & ponds.
