Absolutely fantastic weather. Especially enjoyed last nights's downpour, and the cool breeze that kept blowing. Just sat by the window after a great dinner of parathas and kababs , and watched the bright red gulmohar tree right outside my window and the deserted roads.

It rained cats dogs and buffalloes today.

Marthahalli KR puram ring road was flooded under the railway bridge more than knee deep at 7PM. I was stuck there for over an hour.

I saw hrag running his Safari through the water in style and ease.

Inspired took my ship through the water - it was almost above the number plate, and sailed to the other side. Made sure that no one was in front and accelerator was pressed all the way.

Some guys were seen to accelerate hard and stopping in the middle to get stuck.

One gentleman called the traffic police who said they cannot do anything about it. Then he called fire force to get help - they very annoyingly gave the BBMP number and told it is their problem. BBMP was closed after 6PM

Crv came back after that river wading at Marthahalli, a real truck wooshed past almost flooding the car, lucky no major damage. Apart from the front plastic skid guard one piece has come off. Apparently one plug is conked, i think its not been changed for last 20k kms.

Has asked the driver to take it to Honda, check the filter and replace all plugs.

was that a silver coloured previous model CRV. I think I saw you then. The CRV I saw was moving slow after the river and looked like some issues

Oh man, I had gone to the Bannergatta road office today (usually work from Whitefield) and left early to beat the rain. Just managed to reach home before it started raining cats and dogs. Lucky.

Oh man, just reached home after a brief trip to Domlur. On the way back, found all roads flooded. My Indigo had to wade through. Luckily, nothing untoward happened.

Its a golden Crv and it was not me, bro driven by the driver Driver said he stalled the car, and car didnt crank. I checked now and all fine except one suspected choked plug/coil, could be totally unrelated also.

Anyways will know tomorrow.

lovin bangalore right now

this rain is ridiculously fabulous...
It's like the best thing to happen to bangalore for some time.

i agree the traffic jams are horrendous, the hidden potholes atrocious.

But now
the rain waters and cleans my plants
washes my car...to a certain extent.
It also gave me about atleast 2k liters in harvest.
and the best of all the good old smell of the rain on the mud, and that cool breeze...mmmm it's just orgasmic. (Can't belive I said that)

Damn, you just gotta love the rain

The best thing that happens when it rains so heavy is that the bikers and most of three wheelers go off the road.

Heavy heavy rain across Bangalore.

I was at the New B. E. L road and this was the condition.

The water level was above the pavement.

So many vehicles breaking down at the very point where the water was clogged.

An ambulance was stuck for a long time in this Jam.

Hi,

Was it the ground clearance or the weight?which was the cause? and more I have heard about the sturdy design of Tata Body makers, didn't water leaked in inside from anywhere?

Expecting Response.
