IPL has the WORST set of commentators in Harsha, LSK and Rameez Raja. Listening to their commentary is absolute pain. Most of the times they have no clue which of the two batsmen is on strike, how the field is set up, or who the bowler is. They hardly ever have anything intelligent to say. They just fill time by stating some very obvious things like "first six overs are crucial", "they should not lose any wickets now", "this match is crucial for both sides".
Yesterday i decided to watch the match on mute.

Horror of horrors i saw the part where Mandira Bedi comes in to talk to some of the commentators before the match starts. I have been avoiding that stupid singer and this woman as much as possible.

But yesterday while flipping channels i caught a glimpse and she was making the other guy sweat in his pants. He didnt know what to say and didnt know whether he had to laugh or cry when she mentioned that she had kissed 2 guys. The 2 guys apparently i get to know from my niece were 2 dolphins....LOL.

PS: My niece even mentioned that wearing the type of dress she wore with the tan lines showing is the biggest fashion faux pas - my niece is from a group of fashion designers (they call themselves something cant remember) for Levi's Brand in India. So i took her word for it.

Whose bright idea was it to make this woman a cricket commentator?

True, CSK relies mainly in its batting. I would like to see likes of Morkel, Oram hitting some form. I would disagree that bowling of RCB is better than CSK. Both sides bowling attack gets whipped all over the ground. I would still think CSK holds a better chance today.

If RCB does not win today, it is more or less 'game over' for them in IPL 2009 ! Let's hope they do win so that they live to fight another day !

By better, I meant Dale Steyn and Anil Kumble > Murli and Balaji/Gony. Since DS is out, it's even stevens.

At the end of the day, the difference will be Hayden IMO.

What a show by Daredevils yesterday!
Couldn't beleive Deccan can lost from that position. I believe both teams are very strong and symonds had made deccan more potent.

Today's prediction-
CSK wins.
MI wins.

He was so consistent, he got 5 successive ducks(0) against Australia in test matches ;-)
In the next series, when India visited Aus again, Agarkar came in to bat, scored his first run and then lifted his bat towards the dressing room smiling sheepishly.

He has a sense of humour, I guess.

n_c: You still support RR ? Now with Shane Warne out of the equation, things might be tough for them.

News is that Johan Botha will play for them now.

The best comment came from Suresh Menon on the Suresh Menon show which comes on Red FM here in Mumbai.

He said " Wahan pe ek ladka bhi tha Raju, baad mein shyaan se dekha toh Mandira Bedi thi"

Maybe they were complacent and overconfident!
DC thought match is in bag and then Bhatia snatched the bag and ran away.
CSK thought hayden will make all runs so why bother others, he did but not all!
Update- Bangalore 13/2 (1.5/20 ov)
Dravid just got out, i expect match to be a close one.

RCB top order is back to what it does best! And we are playing one less batsman today
Why can't they just play out 20 overs, 130 is not hard to get. All hopes on Rosco now. Come on Rosco you can do it again!

At 39-3, dosent look too good but we should still be able to make the required 130 if the rest of them bat sensibly !

It should be a close match. Taylor & Boucher hold the key, and our very own over confident Kohli too. If Taylor stays for another 5-6 overs this should be RCB's game

@Gautam- Looks like RR might take a big hit with Warne's injury, plans to support other team? Your welcome to come all the way South.

@Eddy- Haha! Good one. Gautam go to Delhi now. Haha
