Hightime we give a chance to Nitini, that would strengthen our bowling , Oram can be dropped - anyways middle overs spin has been the best bet Raina can throw around a few overs .

I just hope he has not resorted to any banned substance.

2 good matches last night. Broke my heart a bit to see CSK go down to RCB. But I would like to see RCB in the top 4, so don't really mind that.

Am happy CSK lost y'day, only Hayden is consistent in that team.

What a harakiri by MI y'day, what was Abishek Nayar & Bhajji smoking y'day?
Instead of finishing the match, they are taking singles & giving strike to the bowlers.

Do you really believe he was even injured
Have you forgotten how Aussies like to play the mind games!

All said a great match.
MI must be kicking themselves to lose like this. Like deccan they just choked in the end.
I don't think MI can make it to semifinals now.

This IPL is more fun. 90% matches are getting decided in last 2 overs.

DD are fighting back after just scoring 120, I know I am getting a bit optimistic here.

And they should keep in mind that Mr Sachin Tendulkar is about the worst captain at the IPL.

Exactly. Even last year, they won under Shaun Pollock, lost under Sachin and Harbhajan.

But they don't have a choice do they ?

He is contracted for at least one more year.
He is the big daddy of Indian cricket.
He will play till 2011.
He gets in the sponsors.
There is nobody else in the team who looks like captaincy material.

Although he has failed as a captain everytime he has tried it, I think we can safely assume that he will remain the captain for IPL 2010.

Why? Hum hain na!
Anyway. This win will give Chennai SK the momentum they need to go into the final stages of the tournament and bring them closer to a semi-final berth.
Now I just hope my favourite team, Rajasthan Royals makes it too.

What a different innings from Haydos . I thought he would lose his cool and give away his wicket but he chose to see through the match and played a wonderful sedate innings.

Err, is it only me or is Sunny Gavaskar almost downright depressed at the presentation party ? Just going through the motions actually. Except the Haydos interview probably.
