This year the winner is going to be either Delhi Daredevils or Pune Warriors India. KKR are the dark horses.

Delhi has done badly in the last 2 editions (IIRC) and Pune owners had to face a lot of trouble with BCCI so they get a lifeline to win the IPL and stay as sponsors for the Indian team.

Why has DC played just 2 matches when all the other teams have played 4-5 matches ? Seems like they are not even in the competition. DC is also the lousiest side in this mix, wonder how they came up with this one. DD is playing beautifully well, but for how long is the big question. Sehwag runs out of juice very soon.

And I am thinking whether I did the right thing by choosing MI as the winner. After yesterdays match my doubts are hardened. MI fell like a pack of cards yesterday. I guess they ended up with the lowest score for this IPL till date.

None of the above. He was rotating his bowlers and could not rotate his arms. He got the highest score, why should he also bowl ?

harbhajan should have bowled his quota and showed that he wants to lead from but instead he chose to just rotate other bowlers. Not a good attitude from a captain.
DD was awesome yesterday.

Delhi has a awesome batting line up with Sehwag, KP, Jayawardane, Ross Taylor and Warner to join and i think they can chase down any target that is max possible in a T20 match (Harbajan could not have made any difference with just 92 on score board). Their bowling (fastest among the others with Morkel, Aaron and Umesh Yadav) also seems to be performing well, great to see old horse Agarkar bowling with some steam yesterday.

The big fellas like MI, CSK and RCB are struggling big time this season. My bet for this year goes for DD and RR.

Dravid is doing it the reverse way, so its ok. I do not want Pujara playing the IPL and corrupting his technique.

Though i support MI and PWI but in this IPL i think DD should win looking into their combination. Yes only problem they face if they have to play on slow and turning wickets, lack of quality spinners. If bouncy & swing pitches Morkel, Pathan will be dangerous. They have batting power with Viru, KP, MJ.

Dravid is on fire today - What happened to him?

Wow! Both the matches today were exciting.
Just when Gayle was bowled , i was wondering when was the last time Nehra bowled a leg stump yorker and then he comes up with hittable length bowls in the last over.

In such a long tournament its all about peaking at the right time. Teams should not peak too early!

What an awesome match between RCB and PWI. I feel sorry for Dinda as he bowled a superb 19th over but had to see his team get defeated.
Overall a great day of IPL cricket, two big totals in excess of 180 got chased down.

It's all about the ability to hold your nerve.

Look at what happened to Deccan Chargers today. they looked like they would register their first win today. After scoring 190+, you'd fancy your chances. Poor fielding and bowling, especially at crucial junctures of the match let them down.

Tiwari is still not worth the 1.6 million. Maybe 800,000 after today's incredible 6 of the last ball. He simply couldn't time the ball at all, and always found the sweeper at deep cover.

Gayle's 30 run over was a treat to watch. Hope that little girl in the stands is okay.

Rajasthan Royals are turning out to be a fine team. And seriously, what was Nehra thinking in the last over??? All balls were of the same line, length and speed. There were no slow balls nor bouncers. Instead of just 21, he gave away 24!!!

I was working from home and turned on the TV to see RR playing against DC. Thought it was a exciting match and when someone hit a sixer and it showed six number 198, it dawned on me to see the right top portion of the screen ( I had seen more than 200 in the highlights of RCB vs PWI today morning). It said 'REPEAT' :(
