Mumbai need to make drastic tactical changes if they have to start winning. Abhishek Nayar has to bat up the order and they also need to re-think their bowling options. They need to learn from the Rajasthan Royals on how to use limited resources.

Sachin missing out is unfortunate. But to start blaming him for Mumbai's bad trot is pushing it a little. Fine, the Ambanis paid $$$ to employ his services but do you expect him to play with an injury? There are bigger battles ahead and he simply cannot risk it.

IMO Harbhajan was not worth half of that. They should have foreseen the negative publicity given his record.

You think ? Deccan has just creamed them which is arguable the biggest win in IPL yet. 10 wickets.!

Sad but True! Apart from Sachin and Jayasuria the Mumbai team does not have any match winning players.

Sad that Mumbai Lost, again. But it was a real treat to watch Gilly in full tune. Amazing display of how devastating he can be.

One thing is for sure, Australia is the number 1 team in the world and each and every player of the team is number 1 in its own term. Period. Warne with his fantastic captaincy. Watson chips in too. Mcgrath and Lee are good too. Katich joined the party.
Hussey, Symonds and now Gilchrist hitting the fastest century in IPL. Its Aussies all the way. I'll miss few of the Aussies for rest of the tournament.

Yup mostly it has been the Aussies who have played some match winning innings or spells. It ll be interesting to see how the teams perform when most of the Aussies leave. Punjab Kings , Kolkata will be most hit. I get the feeling Rajasthan is getting better with every match! Im cheering for Chennai Superkings.

Sree-Bhajji incident was quite amusing, Sree was sobbing like a innocent nursery kid slapped by a bully!

Am sure he provoked Bhajji with his irritating antics!

It is time the indian board rid the game of this jumped up idiot who has done nothing but bring the game of cricket into disrepute.

Yeah if the management issues caused by a player outweigh his contributions - as is the case with both Bhajji and Sree - then its time to get rid of the player.

It is not like we do not have another off spinner or a medium pacer to replace them. Bhajji is no Shane Warne, nor is Sreesanth a Malcolm Marshall.

All over the world, the opposite of this is what happens.
Pity that that the most expensive franchisee is reduced to this state.

Sehwag had smothered Deccan Chargers when they faced Delhi. Sehwag had scored unbeaten 94 off 41. Gilly did the same against Mumbai. Anyday, DC have better attach than MI. So Sehwag's effort carries more weight. People here are all praises for Gilly . Wish Sehwag was an Australian

Sachin, Dravid, Laxman and Ganguly should have remained outside of T20. They look out of sorts with the whole T20. Would have liked to see how Sachin would have fared. He could have done well since he's been in great touch in ODIs in Australia.

Welcome to the present. We are discussing the last couple of matches, not going through the archives. Hope you try to understand some of these discussions before you bang your head.

I was glad to watch the match live with my friends at the DYP stadium. It was a thrilling experience to say the least. MI innings were really really boring. People were getting restless, as they were hardly any good shots being played. Everyone was 'aiming' rockets at Afridi and the cheergirls. Some succeeded as well.
But what made it all worth was Gilly. What an innings it was. He was smashing the ball all over the park. 3 out of the 10 sixes was in our stand. Amazing.
The best part was, we could hear the 'thud' of the bat when he hit the ball. In comparison it seemed the MI were playing with tennis *****.

Now the stadium: The seating arrangements were good and the washrooms were clean as well (surprisingly). The food was great, McDonalds, Cafe Coffee Day, Kailash Parbat, Pizza Hut and some other local joints. No beer unfortunately. :-(
The parking was a bit of a headache though. But overall a good experience. Highly Recommended.

Today's match: Bangalore vs Chennai
Why does Dravid play Chanderpaul when Misbah-Ul-Haq is on the bench ?

That will hopefully change today. The only chance Blore has is to bat first and put up a 200+ score. If Chennai bats, chances are that they will bat Blore out of the match.

Why the hell is Dravid is playing in T-20? Does he think it is Test-20?

Atleast Dravid has 10,000 runs in ODIs, unlike Laxman

Bangalore paid $500,000 and bought Cameroon White. Where is he now? Will he play today?
