He clearly is a better thinker. Not a slogger like other youngsters.
Few other youngsters showed good promise, like Jadeja in Raj Royals...

Based on the performance in IPL, what would be the India XI T20 team?

8) Chawla
9) Ishant
10) Pathan

13) Nayyar
14) RP Singh

How come no one is talking about Yusuf Pathan?
And he has shown is capability in more than one match.

He can come in place of Jadeja in N_C's 15.

Even Rajat bhatia has not done bad at all.

Bangalore vs Punjab in Bangalore
Bangalore 1/2 - thats 2 wickets
Bangalore's trumpcard Cameron White is out for a golden duck
Bangalore paid White $500,000, when his base price was $100,000

Bangalore's prize catch, Kallis (bought for $900,000, whose reserve price was $225,000 ) is out for duck !!
In IPL, Kallis' batting has been average and his bowling has been terrible

I would not have Piyush Chawla in my T20 squad. I think he should play a little more test and first class cricket to hone his leg spin. Yusuf Pathan instead of him.

Dude - did you watch today's dismissal of Kallis ?? It wasn't even his fault !! I agree that he has had a horrid time so far in the IPL.

Eddy - I thought on the same lines but Chawla is a better bowler than Y Pathan and thats why I chose him over Pathan.

I think he is the Rahul Dravid of leg spin; correct and conventional. So more suited to the longer variety of the game. I am worried that T20 might lead him to bowling flatter and quicker. So let him play a little more cricket so that he can learn how to tackle different situations.

EDIT: No shikhar dhawan ? Can't he come in instead of Jadeja or Nayar ?
Also, do we have a better option than RP Singh ?

In place of Sehwag ? Jadeja and Nayyar have been consistent for a long time in the domestic season and now they have grabbed their chances in the IPL too. I would keep both of them.

How can anybody drop the orange cap holder ? Shikar Dhawan can come in place of Yuvraj. This is based on performance, not potential. Of course Yuvraj is the guy with tremendous potential that you get a shock of your life

127 to win! Looks like an easy task. This one looks like it'll go to Punjab.

All of these are bowling better than RP with Sree and Nehra being better than others.

I'm very happy that Nehra has got his rhythm back and soon he will find his deserving place in India team, atleast in one day format.

If all present Indian bowlers are fit,i would rate him 2nd best after Ishant Sharma.
