He is nothing special

To comment on his multiple skipper theory is to give it the importance it doesn't deserve but what does require comment is how he has got his Queensland pals lucrative jobs with KKR. Buchanan has an assistant coach, who, in turn, has an assistant. There are two physical trainers as well, one of which is his son.

There is a fielding coach as well as a wicketkeeping coach! Yes, a coach for probably two wicketkeepers! The team also has a bowling coach and a physio. Most, if not all, are from Queensland. The owners — poor souls — probably have little idea of how they are being milked. Do T20s need so many coaches or is this where the multiple skipper idea came from?

"If the Indian media had not made him out to be a 'super coach', he would have been just another failed former cricketer making a living telling international players to do what he couldn't at the first-class level."

Shah Rukh Khan lashes back at Gavaskar

"I am the owner of the team, I bought it. If he wants to implement something, let him buy a team."

How I wish I could vote for Bangalore RCs. I hope KP does some wonders for BLR this time.

Voted for Delhi Daredevils :::

Firstly because they have best opening pair, the inform Sehwag & Gambhir duo.

Secondly I feel they have suffered the least international player loss.

Thirdly the bowling duo of Glenn McGrath and D Vettori ( one of the best economical and wicket taking bowlers respectively ).

Fourtly Delhi-te.

Fifthly I have 2 pairs there complete merchandise, one for myself and one for wifey. I really enjoy them wearing to work on a DD match, if at all I am not watching the match live. This watching a live will be impossible for too many reasons.

Anyways... Jeetega bhai jeetage... Delhi Daredevils jeetega

I have tried to apply logic/reasoning and then the opposite to Buchanan's four captain theory. Hansie Cronje made Jonty Rhodes the unofficial fielding captain of SA during his time. His job was to monitor and improve fielding, not to take over the reins from Cronje.

We have heard of bowling, fielding, physical and even mental conditioning coaches. But 4 captains....maybe he knows something that defies every rule in or out of the book...

Looks like DD have a pretty good team. My vote goes to DD followed by our own CSK. I feel RR would be a HUGE disappointment this time.

@ Mods Could you please reset the poll. I am not able to vote for this year's winner.

good decision.
he was way overrated imo since start.

@Maser- John does this to be in limelight and to prove he as a coach is best. IMHO the 4 captain theory is rubbish and will create a bitter team rift(evident with the way ganguly, maccullum, ishant etc are giving diff. interviews in media)

@Esteem- Yes i feel RR will bite the dust this time.

MY feeling- Mumbai indians or Daredevils will lift the cup!
Dark horse- Chennai super kings.
Bottom team- Royal challengers or mohali
Improved team- Hyderabad.
All glitz and no glory team - Kolkata riders.
