+1 for Dravid, for delivering when other top-order batsmen keep getting out.
Surprising to see Kevin fail to deliver in batting, again.
Honestly i saw the first 6 overs and was baffled by RC's approach. You chase 180 plus you dont score below 8 per over in first 6 overs and they were below 6 runs average.
KP- too much hyped and no performance-
Kallis- trying his best to prove he is not only a test player and playing some good cameos.
Utthapa- I never believed he has the class and temparament to be an international player so his failures dont surprise me.
Boucher- Only the stupid with no cricket sense can keep a player like this in the dressing room.
Dravid- CLass speaks. It spoke in past and is speaking now and will continue speaking. (i feel he is hell bent on proving Mallaya the last year debacle wasn't his fault,he was the highest run getter for RC then also)

If they need to be in semis they need to sort out their composition fast.

BAck to today-
Daredevils and Chennai- mouthwatering contest!
Prediction- close match with daredevils winning.
Mcgrath needs to play to outplay Hayden early otherwise DD is in trouble.

Chennai nneds to remove Viru and Gautam early if they need to win this one.

RR and Knight riders-
Prediction- Riders winning this one.

Lets wait and watch now!

All said and done this sporting spectacle so to say isnt worth a billion $ of revenue. And what with the strategy break... another shameless way of making even more money from advertising.
Think about this IPL has earned more than a billion $ already from the team owners, advertising and telecast rights and the people who have spent so much would atleast want to make 25% + on their investment, advertisers and telecasters included. Proves again that we fall for the hype created by the media who I think is the biggest gainer after BCCI offcourse.

YUP both of them are out! Viru as usual, reckless and Gambhir was clumsy.

Right.
But we still made a good one - Delhi Daredevils 189/5 (20.0/20 ov)
What an innings AB played- century well deserved.
I will admit was bit concerned when those 2 got out in first few overs but Dilshan started the riot and what a finish by AB- top class stuff( hitting Flintoff for sixes in last overs has become a fashion thanks to trend starter Abhishek Nayar)

Now we need to get hayden out early and voila we can look at a win!

Chennai screwed up an easy win set up by hayden. The strategy (ad) break worked against us this time :(

That was a close match which should have been won by the Superkings(Coming from a big time devils fan). ABD played a brilliant innings and thankfully this time around Delhi's middle order looks in form unlike last time. Vettori as usual was good but Hayden was just amazing. If he would have stayed on for another 4 overs it would have been all over for the Devils.

All in all i see these two teams reaching semi's along with Chargers. But Delhi lacks some quality bowling unlike the other two teams. TBH Delhi represents team India in International cricket with allstar batsman with just one good spinner(as it was in the past) :P

Till the last 5 overs it was chennai's match all the way. I will say they choked badly in the end and Hayden must be banging his head somewhere in dressing room. Turning point was Vettor and Sangwan's economy spells also producing few wickets.
For chennai- Morkel is being wasted so down.

Few errors by shewag imo.
Mcgrath should have been in for this crucial match.
Vettori should have bowled earlier when Haydo was blazing out. AS usual spinners dont bowl in powerplay negative mentality(as if pacers are not leaking anyruns). Yes they can get hit but they can create wicket taking chances as well.
