They have removed the Icon player status. Contract lasts for 3 years per player.

He can't be up for auction till 2011. He has to play for Delhi in 2010.

But he might shift to Mumbai in 2011 (rumours) - since he has joined Reliance.

But i guess they can do a swapping of players as they did in 2nd IPL

Eg - Robin Uthappa & Zaheer Khan were interchanged with the teams

But isn't Sehwag the STAR player for the Delhi team ? Similar to what Dravid is for Bengaluru and Sachin for Mumbai - these players cannot be exchanged / sold.

Sehwag is a STAR or ICON Player for Delhi Daredevils team and the above quote was done after reading the below mentioned Post by Spitfire, which says the icon player status has been removed.

So the action starts again tomorrow. No one seems to be the favourite this time.

Let the games begin.

Like the past two editions the underdog is going to win this time again. How many bet on Kolkata Knight Riders?

Folks,

Are we having any match in Kotla, Delhi? Can someone confirm.

Though its there on the Venue list, but I am unsure as few months back the pitch bought shame to India.

Kotla is hosting matches, The ban I believe is only for international matches.

Im getting the option 'you've already voted in this poll', although i haven't.
My odds are on:
1) KKR
2) Mumbai Indians
3) Delhi Daredevils.
