Great show by CSK! Raina is the player of the tournament for me. Anyone wondering why Sachin didn't walk?

EDIT: Oh gawd, what a speech by Modi. Looks like his speech writer has been looking at some MLK/JFK speeches. There was one major difference here. Not an ounce of sincerity.

Or may be it was meant to be that way by the powers higher up. 90 out of 100 would have said MI have a better chance of winning.

Probably the painkillers and the heavy plasters in his fingers meant he couldn't feel it.

i read the commentary on cricinfo and they said it was because Pollard doesnt play well off of spin. MI waited till the spinners were gone, then brought Pollard in. Thats how he got 22 in that over.

Clearly fixed. Chennai cannot beat Mumbai otherwise

Finally got to watch some IPL 2010 action live thanks to Youtube. Sachin batted long enough to satisfy me. I miss the buzz of watching high profile cricket in India :(

Congrats CSK. Best of luck to Dhoni and the boys for the World Cup

So the Deal made halfway through the innings when Raina suddenly started to fire. Thats why I guess Pollard was held till the end and was too late to come in.

A excellent cartoon in The Hindu today. Copyright - The Hindu...

I still wonder about following points:

1. 1st wicket gone in 2nd over. Still Nayar did not start attempting big shots till 13th over. Why were they waiting for such a long time?
2. Pollard was pushed to almost 18th over. I thought he is injured or what.. MI strategy was as rubbish as Siddhu commentary.
3. Harbhajan sent up when you have in form Rayadu and Tiwary. Who are proper batsmen.

I seriously feel now that something is fishy about it.

Kudos CSK

YES the Super Kings are Champions

Suresh Raina was the man, he has performed consistently in all the three IPLs and he was fantastic yesterday.

I thought Mumbhai Indians missed a trick by sending in Abhishek Nayar at No.3, Saurabh tiwary was performing so well and why you need to change the winning combination that too at the Knockout stage of the tournament, Sending Harbhajan above Tiwary, Rayudu and Pollard was a bad decision.

Pollard played a blinder and it required a wonderful field placement to get rid of this Dangerous Hitter, they had a Mid off and long off, pollard was caught by Hayden standing at mid off.

All in all a wonderful performance by CSK and I think CSK got the momentum when they beat Punjab in the last over.

Great win by Chennai. I dont know why Sachin even played if he was not fit. And then his captaincy, and then....

I think sending Harbhajan up was a gamble worth taking. They were trying to get a quick 20 or 25 runs from Harbhajan without risking a proper batsman. Unfortunately for them, it didn't work out.

Is there any place where I can view the highlights of the ICC T20 world cup like there was in the IPL on youtube?

Why doesn't the poll have a "who cares?" option? :(

Because those who don't care about the IPL aren't really expected to enter a thread named 'The IPL...'

CSK is the only team to reach all 3 Semi-Finals of IPL and this is solely because of Dhoni.

Dhoni is the man, and I am his great great fan now.
