Are you talking about morals for these kindergarten players in IPL? Please look around and you will find the greatest names of cricket history involved in fixing, who were supposed to have the highest standards of morals or whatever....

Without fixing and betting, IPL would not be what it is. I am sure you would not be surprised when Rajasthan Royals won the 1st season because you thought they "deserved" it leaving all Gibbs and Tendulkars looking like goons.

And why are we asking for proof? Tacho gave out the names - Azhar, Cronje, etc etc. Does that not prove match fixing exists? Let the common sense prevail and understand that if INTERNATIONAL matches were proved fixed....................................... IPL=Indian Paisa League is a mere league.

In fact, if you know, it is the players who are the ones MOST involved in the fixings, others are mere channels.

By the way, tomorrow is Mumbai vs Bangalore. Win Win situation for you

re: The IPL Thread - Season V discussions from pg 150

I didn't understand the strategy of RCB in the auction. It's turning out be quite a mercenary team, by not picking or retaining good players and then picking some guys for far more. Seriously this is going down the drain

re: The IPL Thread - Season V discussions from pg 150

A thing to note is that Shane Warne was not present in the auction. He was the one who would have made a difference, and strategise for the team. Not sure what his role in the franchise would be.

They are loading up on young Indian players, who could potentially do well and stay with the team for years. If their lack of experience proves fatal, the ploy could bomb! :P
