Well well well. I was cringing in my seat having seen KKR win the match!! How can delhi throw their wickets like that. So much for supporting another team. WHy are they following RCB to fight it for the last 4?
I really wanna see Shoaib akthar bowling to some young pakistani opener. Would be fun.

Not only that - he is also the most feared bastman, either in Tests, ODIs or T20. In IPL he has the best SR among the batsman who have scored more than 200 runs. One odd match changes nothing.

Chennai with their recent run of form should put it across MI, although I would love to see MI win. Wishful thinking

Sachin has good record in domestic T20:
Innings: 5
Runs: 198
Highest: 69
Avg:39.60
SR:166.38
4s: 30
6s: 5

So Jayasurya & Sachin open for MI - the second best opening pair in the competition !!!

Mallya wanted MSD, Uthappa, McCullum*-*News*-*News*-*Times of India Cricket - IPL
Quote:
If Vijay Mallya had his way, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Robin Uthappa and Brendon McCullum would have donned the Royal Challengers' colours in his dream Bangalore team rather than Mark Boucher, Anil Kumble, Sunil Joshi or even Rahul Dravid, sources close to Mallya have said.
Quote:
Mallya is considering changing his players, including Dravid, next year if the rule book allows him to do so.
Quote:
Dravid had to be signed on following the BCCI norm of including 'icon players', despite the fact that he had never played a Twenty20 game, RCB managers say.
Quote:
While Mallya was really keen to get Dhoni and wanted to bid for him, Dravid insisted that "there is no need for such an expensive player", sources close to Mallya said.
Quote:
The team's chief cricketing officer Martin Crowe's comment after a recent RCB defeat to his colleagues was, "We have tried all strategies, but this team is too old and too slow."

The 4 semi finalists -

1) PKX1 - Preity Zinta (Bollywood Glamour)
2) KKR - SRK (Bollywood Badshah)
3) CSK - India's T20 WC winning captain's team
4) RR - IPL needed a underdog team.

This looks set - and it will come down to KKR and CSK playing the finals. Like Akshay Kumar said in AJANBI - Everything is planned.

N_C, I am sure if there would have been 4 different teams in semis, you would have thought of some other equally convincing conspiracy theory ;-)

KKR .. are you mad ?? They not gonna make it .. jsut got lucky yesterday but luck is gonna desert them for now on so no ways are they gonna make it . The 4th slot is between Sehwag and Sachin -- MI are still 2 matches behind the rest and could throw a spanner in the works .

And if you go with the conspiracy theory .. Mallyas boys wud have been up there even with a dis oriented bucnh of players .

Yeah sure, just yesterday & another 4 games before that as well.....I'd love to see CSK & KXIP get thrashed in their remaining games & then the equation changes further as well.

Either ways, KKR gets into the last 4 N_C's conspiracy theory notwithstanding!

I would prefer to see MI or DD instead of KKR. Rest other teams are OK. Lets wait and see. Just my opinion.

... dream on . The 2nd & 3rd game that they played, they should have lost but were lucky to get away and then the team showed their true colors only to get lucky again last nite . And now lady Luck will desert them again for the next few games and they will stay stuck with 10 points or maybe get to 12 ( atleast thats what I wish for ) .

But don't blame you for cheering them ...

Cheers

Suman @ go read the meet thread after you have replied to me here .

Tch, tch, not doing your homework - they won their first couple of games, lost the next four & then won the last three games on the trot.

Though I can't blame you for supporting the KXIP - one hug from the owner is worth a 100 runs, lol!
