I dont buy this story about immoral activities. There are many such places, why the drive in ? I have never seen any such thing there in all of my visits, maybe nitrous knows something more.

P.S Its been re-opened as of today :)

I had the privilege of meeting John at this place when i stopped by Chennai. Sad that you guys would be losing out on this wonderful place.

i passed by today and the car park was still closed.. lots of cars were parked on the opposite side of the road though, not sure its for woodlands or for some other building.

Heard that it has been reopened and doing well. Has anyone visited them in the last 2 days?

PS: The oldest coffee shop in Chennai is closed. Read in in the TOI Chennai edition. Any idea where it is located?

I don't think the restaurant was ever closed; just the car park.

Would have thought lease problems would cover the building as well, but who can tell with these complex things?

The coffee shop is located on the Greenways road.
