Well - this is road rage. And, also the case of what has to happen, will happen.

The way I see it, the officers were annoyed with the way the lawyer had parked his car (whether correctly or not, we don't know). The lawyer's ego was obviously hurt when scolded by the officers in front of his wife. And then, the lawyer seems to have lost his head and, seething with built-up anger, he tried to run by as close to the officers as possible (or perhaps, did try to knock them down, we don't know). This time, the officers lost their cool and gave a chase...which resulted in a death.

And all this could have been avoided if even one of the parties had continued to keep their cool. But as I said earlier, what has to happen will happen.

Sad. about the officer's demise and really feel for his parents.

The fact that the lawyer confessed the crime to the police later proves the point that he did all this at the heat of the moment. And yes the 'ego' .. man this is one big word which contributes to number of road rages.

This seems to be what might have happened most likely. 'Ego' / 'Road rage' gone to the head!

Do not be so disheartened.

Few years back, a lawyer stabbed another (a lawyer) and the bar association passed a resolution NOT to defend the accused. The case was transferred to another district, and the accused was convicted. I do not know what happened in appeal.

That is utter shame, we already are losing pilots from the IAF and this incident shows how drinking can take lives on the road, not just his family being in pain and loss, the country loses too..RIP..

95% of our population needs to back to kindergarten to understand dealing with other human beings. the lawyer sould be made to write 100,000 times,

Their basic bringing up has been faulty, when they see all disputes being solved by power around them.

Yes we can. Hang the b***** lawyer right in middle of the Kasuli town main road, from a lampost, after skinning him alive, with a placard stating why was he hung. Only such harsh justice will curb this increasing lawlessness.

Very sad. More of our IAF pilots seem to die in MIG crashes, accidents, road rage than in war.
