Who felt it was an eyesore?? It was removed because it was causing distraction

All you guys who want to ogle at the beautiful women in the hoardings, get yourself a 102" Plasma screen & do it at home when your wives/gfs are away.

I agree, they should remember to remove the metal junk. The reason I'm against these hoardings are that they are a major distraction causing unneccessary issues.

Mission_safari, we want our city / country to improve, but to remain filthy / dirty with hoardings everyone would not attract others. There could be hoardings atmost in a select few city centres .. Any major shopping mall etc, but in such a way that cars / vehicles are not allowed anywhere near it.

Why not support planting trees as much as you would for hoardings..? Dont you want a better city to live in?

i remember when i had been to KL in Malaysia a few years back and noticed that all the hoardings were outside the city on the way to the city from the airport. and they were evenly spaced at regular intervals and of uniform size. and no hoardings were to be found inside the city.

I am in no way against planting trees. I am sorry if i had sounded so in my earlier posts. The only trouble with trees is parking near them during rains/heavy winds and they could be as dangerous as hoardings. I had seen number of incidents of trees falling on cars during rains in and around anna nagar. But again i am game if we tbhpians are up for a sapling planting or a save trees intitiative.

Yeah in most developing / developed countries, there are designated areas for hoardings! And all hoardings were of the same dimensions. Here it is a joke..hopefully of the past
