For that kind of numbers, try Woodlands near Richmond circle. But only if you are vegetarian.
cheers:

I'd recommend the Capitol. I believe the price per person is pretty close to your budget. I've had my wedding reception there, same with my brother. And they do arrange things well.

I think the price is 400+ in Capitol now.

Lot of places have hiked the prices by 15-20 % since Jan, so going by Dec 2006 benchmark I should say its decent.

Guys, Thanks for the replies.

Spoke to my friend and he said that a hall to accomodate 300 persons would actually do. Will check out the Capitol and in case the budget is bumped upto 400 per head, then what would be the other options in that category?

@Nitin: I'll PM you to get some pointers on the Capitol, once I check the place out. Thank you.

GoldFinch

Check out GoldFinch too.
The food and the hall there is pretty good. They are located near shivananda circle next to the Banjara restaurant.

Atria, and capitol are good bet. You can also try the canopy at MG road.

The Atria has been booked for that date. Capitol's available though and is an option. Goldfinch is a bit too expensive at 600 plus tax.

Also checking out JP Churchill & Shelton Grand. It's 400 plus tax at Churchill's.

Hotel Regaalis was another option at 350 plus tax but their hall can only accomodate 150 Max, they however give you the option of using the nearby Rotary Hall.

Will put up the rates of these places (consolidated), when I've confirmed on a place ... might help someone get an idea in future, when the requirements are kinda similar.

Re: Looking for a Banquet Hall in Bangalore (to host a reception)

Bumping old thread!

Looking for a Banquet hall for a family get together of about 100 people around Ulsoor/Indiranagar/Domlur. Have checked the usual ones like Nandhana etc, but trying to find other new and better options.

Budget of around 50k, no other constraints. Any recommendation?
