Team Bhpian Aman Sachdev also has such fog Lamps and had got some feedback regarding these:

1. If you stick them with double sided tape they will focus towards the trees.
2. If you bolt them towards teh edge of the roof they will focus on the road, but you will have 5 holes on your roof (not advisable)
3. They cost about Rs.5000/- in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi.
4. These are illegal, and you would be fined in bigger cities.

@freewheelburnin and sidcruise79...thanks for the compliments, My fog lamps came with the 3M two side tape and its stuck so hard that am scared if i were to pull it out, the tape might take paint along with it. In terms of focus, I doubled up the tape on the front side just to give it a little elevation and it works fine. At the end of the day, this is more of a cosmetic add on that anything else. I would feel very guilty using this on public roads. Its good to get the slower car in front of you get out of the way though . I checked with the local tarffic cop station and the inspector there was frank enough to tell me use them till you get caught. btw, i picked these up in muscat.

Apart from all this, I'm told (by GD1418 who has them on his Scorpio) that they really do nothing much by way of illumination unless its pitch dark & you're in the middle of the forest or something.

Its more "show" & no "go".

Yes they are almost useless and show off only rather than utility and of course its illegal as per IMV act.

Have seen it on a number of bling Safari's in my town.

Thanks Vivek. What I have on my car are unbranded, am not sure if there are any specific brands available in the market. I figured out from some posts below that they are available in Delhi. I procured mine from Muscat.

trance_nut keeping in mind you have used the wide angle I would have preferred having a full frame of the Dicor. Never the less a nic one , love the effect.

Tanveer,

I reckon these pictures mean more than what they convey, to you and to your machine. Congrats on the wonderful journey and thanks for sharing these great snaps.

Now, out with the travelogue.

Tanveer, Nice Pics. We want more.

OT: I remember you had put two extra fog lamps on bull guard. Did you remove that before your Leh trip?

Thanks for your comments guys. Travelogue coming soon. I got 1500 pics to take care off!
As for the fog lamps, they were very shaky, and the clamp was on verge of braking, so I decided to take them off before the trip
