@nc1nad: okie. Now that i atleast know that its not anything specific to my bull!! so have changed your batteries to support all those stuff in your ride.

@extreme_torque: mate, there is no more an option of choosing the red color because the company has stopped painting them red after a fire at their paint depot!!
:(

:(

Only priveleged people have the red Safari guys

The red color is somewhat like a limited edition, manufactured between October 2005 till August 2006(as been told by a company representative)

Sad about the fire in the paint shop. But wondering how come TATA's stopped this color inspite of having the shade formula.

Ram, this is a thread for pictures ONLY. Do start your discussions elsewhere mate

If its a technical discussion, there is a separate thread for that.

@ram..... I cant see the logic of stopping a color after a fire at their color depot? Can you explain?

@ extreme torque : sorry dude, i don't know if there is a logical connection between that. But the red color on the Safari was available only till August 2006 as PAVAN told. And the fire was on the first week of Oct 2006.

cherry red

the cherry red color was available only in EX and VX variants, they were in production till the 2.2s came out. For me buying the red was a last minute decision,we were all out for black, but last minute advice from my dad made me change to red. Best decision ever!

Introduction

Hi Guys,

Sorry to join the party so late!!!

My Bull is a Black April 2008 model 4 X 2 and I have clocked around 15K so far.

Some minor tweaks, ie got a Polk Audio Speakers and tweeters for all 4 doors and a subwoofer and 2 amps.
As far as exteriors go, no changes but I am considering to change the front grill to the old 3.0 VX model (All Chrome).

Pros: Just finshed a Ride between Cochin and Ranchi & back (about 5.5K Km),no issues at all, except for a blown condenser fuse. Very reliable and trustworthy.Had to drive in almost 2 ft of water near Puri, no sweat, she handled perfectly!

Cons: Something always squeaks, If I Fix one then I always end up with another!!! But it's something i find miniscule in comparison to the pros.

Chao!

King Riders,

We should start putting up details(Advantages & Disadvantages) about extra fittings & Accessories done on our rides along with the pictures of the same, this might help others to choose the best one onto their ride.

What say guys & gals ?????
