Ok now my turn

Here's my Safari, I spent 7 hours on Sunday washing, drying, waxing(2 types of wax 1 coat of each)and detailing, even washed the upholstery, both a pleasure and a pain.

Enjoycheers:

Beast registered 29th October 2008
Cycus Grey Lx variant
Accessories are crook lock
Music system is Rockford Fosgate P162s Components front and rear, fronts are currently running from a Genesis Profile 2, rears are running from the head unit in coax config. Subs are 2No Hertz HX250d in a double sealed box custom built by myself to fit the slope of the rear seat and enable both the jump seats to be usable, these bad boys are powered by a DLS A6 mono amp running at 1ohm delivering upto 600wrms per woofer, these guys bark loudly! Up front i am using an Apline 9887 Usa version.
Likes: Comfort, reliability so far, fun to drive.
Dislikes: I have no alloys or seat covers, require a bull bar here in Goa due to scooters and taxi's marking my bumpers whilst being parked, lack of feedback in steering, a little to much swaying whilst overtaking, interior plastics scratch too easily, first gear still notchy, Tass very poor and don't like me watching whilst their guys are working.

Thanks Jay, I used turtle wax-extreme tyre gel, i had picked this up around 4 years ago when i was living in the UK, very good stuff, still have approx half the bottle left, the shine lasts for about a week and a half. When this is over i will make my own.

Cheers

Not quite tea leaves, going to try a mix of glycerine and coconut oil if the two mix together, most tyre shine products have a base of glycerine which alone give your tyres a good shine for a day or two, the coconut oil should give it more longevity, worth a try anyway as neither of these products will damage the rubber

Ok Jk will get a couple of pics up tomorrow, thought yours would have been done by now?
The Rockford speakers come with 2 tweeters per woofer, they call it twin drive, i call it BS, they sound descent enough, were harsh before i put my amps in, then the Genesis tamed them somewhat....
Yep 7hrs, it was a Sunday and KINGFISH err slowed me down, hence the last photo, cheerscheers:

Is it not called as a 3 way component speaker in generic term ?

No not 3 way, essentially these are 2way components, as both the tweeters run at the same frequency, 3way components have different operating frequency for each speaker, ie woofer, midrange and tweeters.

Thats the fog lamp wire that has come loose after all the bone jarring rides in Orissa forest, you can see it over here also in this post.

In LX fog lamps are not stock, retrofitted in the stock position and the wire was tucked inside and that has come out, will securely fix it inside this time.

I have the same issue with mine, i thought one bulb had blown, turned out the earth wire had got caught on something and got disconnected. Going to cable tie it, to prevent a reoccurance.
