As this is a Safrai related thread I would like to post my question here in relation to seat covers, using leather style PU. I have been quoted here in Goa Rs6500 for Gsport covers, I have also been quoted Rs6000 from two companies who will stitch the seat covers in the car this is for the thin PU without the foam backing, one of these guys has also quoted Rs9000 for the premium quality with the thin foam backing, I have seen his work and it is definatly first class, but i feel it's a little too pricey. I am driving to Mumbai in June and will be there for one month, should I get the job done there, as I have been told it will be considerably cheaper?

I have Gsport covers and are pretty good. i spent 6500 last year for the Gsport covers. Also the guy needs to do a good job in fitting them on the seats which takes a lot of time.

Hi Chaxy,

Just had a look at your garage, the seat covers look like a decent fit and the shade is matching your interiors, do the seat covers have any foam backing on them?

With owners like us and a forum like this and with wonderful and out of the world photograps like the one above, why should TATA Motors worry about photograph material for their ads.

Really nice to see the way we reclaim our life.

Awesome !!!

This is the bestest of the best ... the greatest thread ever dedicated to the beast!

I dont know if I would like to call it a beast but I respectfully disagree with my fellow BHPians referring to a safari as a "SHE". Safari is definitely a male!

dude,

as much as i might try and sympathize with your damnations of calling a safari a 'he' - i must put my foot down and insist that 'SHE' be referred to in the feminine gender...

(albeit one heck of a butch member of the female gender!!)

p.s

and abhi - i've said this before and i'll say it again... YOUR COLOUR WINS HANDS DOWN BRO!

Lol...

I would not disagree with the butch part in that case!

but if we go by the names that the members have given to their Safari(s) I think the major inclination is towards male gender eg the king!!!

Just yanking your arm dude.

The thing that matters is we all are passionate about Safari.
