Congrats, DOW!

I would suggest that you remove that ribbon and the bar code sticker, asap.

Thanks jkdas. Is it worth the buck or most people ending up trading it against a new Sony/Blaupunkt?

In LX the ORVMS also silver painted with appropriate body colour caps. Also LX has dual coloured seat fabric.

The sales person told From Now on:
LX with silver painted cladding & bumpers
GX with Goldern painted cladding & bumpers
EX & VX with body coloured cladding & bumpers.
Did anyone validate this? Does this actually hold good?

Please do not trade in the stock system if you can live with it's lack of U.S.B connectivity. It is a very competent player.I am saying this because, initially i thought it's sound quality was poor. But after the damping was done the sound quality improved considerably.I am still running the stock speakers. If you listen to my car audio, you will feel that i have upgraded the speakers(post damping). One thing i noticed with this player is that it plays mp3s really well compared to say a pioneer of same range.Damping the car with Dynamat Xtreme is really worth it and would really recommend.I have compared my Safari's Audio with Black Beast's Safari and the difference is huge.So if you wanna get the best out of your speakers, please get that done.I was planning to replace my speakers but after the damping the sound quality has become decent. There may be people on the forum telling that it is not necessary but for me it worked really well and would certainly recommend it.

+1 to that. I can connect my Ipod to it so you wont miss out on the lack of a USB drive.

Recent/Prospective Safari buyers in Bangalore

Guys,

What are the kind of bargains that you have been able to strike with Concorde/Prerana of late? Concorde is offering me nothing except for free insurance (I guess a standard). Any other cash discounts, road-tax waiver, etc?
