Now-or-Never offer

The offer for Dec was free insurance and ext. warranty, which I got. Also got the regular sunfilm, mats, etc from dealer.

The lucky draw has been not so lucky as always for me that I got only the minimum assured 2000rs. :-(

With all the trouble it is still worth it. Was it the usual pre-delivery troubles with your vehicle, please share. Some more interior photos.

My dad agreed to adopt the Sierra, so it will remain in the family.

Wow! The Person driving has some guts! I would have expected the safari to be up on 2 tyres rather then drift.
This one goes into my collection of wallpapers. Absolutely amazing pic!!

The sand dune climb
This was the second climb.
After first climb up, I had to go down again for towing out the black 3 liter.
After that the 3 liter went again, and cleared the obstacle.
Now I follow.
We used bushes etc., on the sand to facilitate climbing.

Interestingly, the two behemoths devastated the climbing slope, and 30 minutes after us a 4x4 mahindra jeep got royally stuck here.
Lack of grunt(it was the short wheelbase thingy) meant it kept getting bogged down. Eventually they decided to bring up supplies by camel and on foot instead of on the jeep
