Wow, nice. Could you guys also mention if you were first time Safari owners. Did you feel any difficulty migrating from smaller vehicles? If so, how long did it take to feel comfortable with your ride?

Srijit,

Srini is right.

There's nothing like migrating with a Safari. Mostly this SUV is brought by a family as a Second car who travel a lot.

There is a bit of adaptibility issues with the Safari as you need to drive it in a particular style.

I recall one incidence last year we were returning from Mysore, a Safari was behind us (rather i kept it behind for some time with lot of difficulty) the moment he got his chance he just sped and vanished, even tough mine was a Safari i could not catch up with him whatever.

Now after 2 years of owning it , on a forest safari with narrow gravelly terrain i could drive this beast faster and better than the nimble Gypsy.

You need to adapt to it, and then its fun.

GUYS WHERE HAVE ALL THE T-BHP SAFARI'S VANISHED.

@ibm_jennifer - The fifth spare wheel is too high for mostly other cars to have an impact unless that too is an SUV/MUV. The first time it was a biker who smashed into me from the rear when I had to suddenly brake as the vehicle infront of me braked hard (coz some nut started crossing the road just after the lights turned green on a signal). Anyhow the biker first hit the rear guard completey bent it from the centre almost touching the number plate. He then also managed to touch his bikes headlamp with the spare wheel which broke his headlamp assembly. Had the gaurd not been there he would have broken my rear bumper into two.. the impact was so hard that his bikes front forks also got bent.
Second time it was an impatient fellow in a old maruti zen ( too low) honking incessestanly in bumper to bumper traffic and managed to break his head lamp when he could not brake in time hitting the gaurd on one of its sides.

So everyone of you own this Bull is patient enough with the rattling and noises after spending around 8-11 L. Oops! This is something strange to me.

Agbenny,

The expectation level on this car is so high that the small niggles that are there in the car seems noticable. Whereas these niggles on a higher priced car's are considered as normal.

You get into this Beast and i promise that you'll reclaim your life.

Go TD a Safari for over 20 kms on an open strecth you'll not part with it for life.

DRAGANOV,

Nice Big Daddy your SUV, Those wheels looks awsome.

Nice guard at the rear, it is functional as you've mentioned.

HARJEEV

Nice BEAR beast yours. Good color.

Is there some mods you've done to your rear bumper lights. I know that the top portion there is no bulb, but your pics show a light there.

Pls tell me what is it?cheers:
