Hi,
I personally like the after fitment reverse camera. It has a big screen compared to a small screen in the OEM.

hollywood hogan,

Your Safari looks similiar to mine, and is familiar to me also. Since this color was released for a limited period, the SUV looks dashing in it.

BTW where do you stay in Bangalore?

Can u xplain about your after market fitment Reverse Camera and guide screen?

How good are they as compared to the OEM install. Is the pricing similar.

I asked the TATA guys they said they dont undertake OEM fitments .
Its cheaper than the OEM which u get at the TATA showroom, that one has a clip-on screen which clips on to the center reverse mirror inside. The one I have cost me 6,000 and has a separate screen which is stuck on to the windscreen next to the mirror. I like this one better since the other one seems bulky and visibility (its not the same as the one on the VX) seems to reduce as the camera is in the center of the mirror. Having a separate screen is just cleaner.

I found a pic of my camera and screen on the net. Can also post interior pics if you like.

Hi , will appreciate if you can post interior pics of the your camera screen and the camera itself. Im looking to fix one shortly in my safari. Did the dealer offer any warranty for your entire unit..??
I found one in mumbai with a 8.5" screen that attaches on the irvm for around the same price(6000-including camera) but without any warranty.

Excellent alloys! Can you specify more details about them? Price, make etc?

@whatcanthisbe >>> those alloys are really nice.
Can you please guide me regarding the make and the price of the same. And are they are a direct fit or does it require any major/minor alterations.

Im sorry This is OT BUT a question to all safari owners or to anybody who has used/uses alloys which has resulted in a wider track of the vehicle.

Question
= does using wider tyres and alloys that increase the width of the vehicle improve the stability and / or handling of the vehicle while cornering or otherwise in general..??
Will appreciate a reply from any and all tbhpians since im considering this as an alternative to improve high speed stability in cornering and in straightline.
I will be happy even with a marginal improvement.

Thanks Guys
i got only 4, the 5th didnt make sense to me but each to his own. I have the original tires (so the same size wheel) The Market price for the 5 wheels was ~ 26k, I paid a shade under 17 for the 4 , cant remember the model / name
