Yes guys.. dont be surprised.. I did not sell my Dicor.. Yes. it was up for sale and i did leve it for 3 hours at a dealer.. but just that thought of someone else owning my Beast did not click. So i still have it in Bangalore and its standing in the Garage with half tank of Diesel and batteries disconnected..

All pics are in my BHP garage. This is a new laptop and i dont have my safari pics on this one. If someone will be kind enough to paste them here will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Goddy, somehow i missed this part of your reply,

Great you got your Beast back into your stable.

Might be a great emotional few hours knowing your beast would go.

And great pics of your beast, Hope you come back soon to reclaim your life.

BTW when are you back in town?

Babu Anna,

very simple, you can make your Beast look a killer with a small job.

Paint your roof white or any color that matches, starting from the pillars.

Streak your alloys with the same color at few places.cheers:

bglsrini - I have heard it is not good to have the front guard, cause it increases the risks of twisting the chasis incase of a head-on collision. Is this true? I want to buy the same nudge bar you have for your vehicle but this query is stuck with me so wanted to confirm from the GURUs.

Please advise.

Cheers!

Great pictures bullet. Will be awaiting the travel details. Planning a similar journey from Calcutta to Sangla, Kalpa, Chitkul on the first half of October. October a good time to visit those areas?

The bull bar which is actually mounted to the chassis of the vehicle is a safety hazard to occupants of the vehicles as it modifies and negates the crumple zone of the vehicle. In case of a head-on collision, the crumple zone will be bypassed and the impact will be passed on to the main chassis of the vehicle. It is best avoided if your vehicle did not come with it. In India, we are using the bull bars more as a style statement rather than functionality. However, there are a few nudge guards available which are mounted in such a way that it does not impact the chassis. CarryBoy has a few models for the Safari. I think Godfather's truck has one such nudge guard.

Edit: Goddy's truck's picture added
