That is a BEAUTIFULLY maintained old Safari. She looks much fresher than my very abused 3.0!

I'd say this was the best-looking version of the Safari (the one with the headlamp washer mounts and the nudge-guard built into the bumper) - they really got it wrong with 3.0 and afterwards. Every car looks best as it was originally designed - redesigns rarely tend to look better.

Vinu that really is a wonderfully maintained Safari there. Trust me the best I have seen till date in the range of the older safari's.

Looks really subtle and brilliant. Full 10 marks.

thanks

Hey, thanks for all the compliments. Takes a bit of effort to maintain it that way.

People at Prerana motors(blr dealer & TASS) run when they see me. they are sick & tired of my myriad requests at making the vehicle run & look better.

So sick of me that they have asked me to sell my other vehicle to them - a 2005 Sumo Victa turbo - which is better maintained than the Safari.

Very civilised Mahout for an uncivilised Beast.

DIESELONE.

Greatt.. Pics man and your Beast looks awsome amidst the sorroundings.

Vinu sir no worries, but i did not come to know why they are asking to give the Sumo instead of your Safari to them.

If they take your Safari they can be happy as you will not be putting myriad request to them for making your vehicle run & look better.

Raghu, they want the Victa becoz they know that I have spend lots to maintain it.

Rattling sounds coming from the car makes me mad and to make such sounds disappear from a Victa means lots of money. For eg. after a trip to an estate, both the front door powerwindow units got partially detached from its rivets and started rattling badly. Welded it back. Came out again in a month after a drive on broken roads. Welding again would have made it unusable.
Finally had to replace both units at Rs 4500/- each.

In the last three yrs I would have spend atleast 20000/- just to stop such noises in the car.

Gowdre the tyres are stock but Apollo .

I was offered the same tyres inspite of insisting on Bridgestone. Finally got the Bridgestone during delivery.
