Bangalore Roads after BIAL opening

Well i really dont want HAL to open up again. The first report which i got from my friend who stays in rajajinagar was that this airport travelling to it is easier. Its better to be moving rather than getting stuck in a jam and the thing he told was that Hyd airport was better than this. Well hope they sort out all their problems

After the new airport, how is the traffic on old Airport Road? Has it eased a bit?

I do the same, and I really only save ~5-10 minutes out of ~50-60. Whether you save time or not, depends on what time you take the airport road. If you do so at non-peak times of air travel, the benefit is only 10-15% in my view. However, if its during the peak time of air travel (and esp if it overlaps with peak office travel), then the difference would be much more like what you experienced.

Earlier it used to take 20 to 22 mins from OMR-100 ft road junction to the Manipal Hospital [between 9 & 9-30].

This Wednesday morning it took less than 15 mins for the same journey. The airport road stretch was almost deserted (comparatively).
