thanks for sharing the info mate. i also feel the same as the numbers are more clearly illuminated in such plates.

Not surprising. There are 384 active members on Mahindra_Scorpio : Mahindra Scorpio and nearly 85% of them interact roughly on a daily basis.

Maybe the newbies are all registered there and interacting..

Do not know about the law here, but I have a person near my house with a lancer fitted with such a number plate light, even though they are LED's placed with noticeable gaps.

He has this setup for more than a year now. If he had run into any trouble, am sure he would have removed them, but so far not done.

Nice pics ramkya1...You not thinking of painting the cladding? Also, I thought there was no 9 seater, only the 7 (2 front+ 3 mid + 2 last) and 8 (2 front + 3 mid + 3 last) seater. How do you add up to 9 seater?

Also, help me out with this...I have the 2005 SLX 7 seater ( mid row is fixed, no slide back & recline and jump seats in the rear) and want to add slide + recline in the mid row and long seat in the back row.

From your experience, is this a direct fit ? It may be different on your vehicle being newer.

Have started a thread regards this at:

Thanks in advance.
