My Scorpio picture is here. What I want to make of it is given in the modifications and accessories section in the thread - "Custom paint job for a black Scorpio". Please do let me have your comments.

Of all the people, you have a crash guard? What happened to all your expertese / science about crumple zones, shock absorbing and all that?

You ride does reek raw power.

Dear Mr.Ramakrishna - I know all the shortcomings but personal car is a matter of personal choice. More than a guard, it is for mounting my Hella Rallye 2000 pencil beam driving lights. The car is an LX (standard). The bonnet is of the M2DI and the wheels are of the SLX (black rims). My neighbour told me that my car looks totally different from other cars and it stands out as very balanced and imposing, also because of the black colour. This is because I have not fitted side footsteps, removed the rear footstep and it does not have claddings and front bumper extensions. Otherwise it is a production car.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

hi
I like the look of your car - I also own an LX standard and frankly I also dont much like the Bonnet Scoop etc.
But I bought this because it seemed the best deal/ option of the various variants IMO. (Main Reasons / Accessorization etc are explained on other posts). Ive also had a similar experience where several people including some on this site, have told me my vehicle looks quite different from the general run of the mill Scorpios - I suppose it is to do with how you personalize it according to your own taste.

Cheers

i absolutely agree to dhabhar that its all about personal taste. and i also frankly admit that i dont prefer such a scorpio. but 1 thing is for sure, i would definetely give it a second glance if i see this one on the road.
and such a butch look would inspire me to terrorize all the puny cars on the road!
