Hey Napoleon, is the naming of your car linked somehow to Sarkozy visiting Agra yesterday? Congrats anyway, Anirban, and wishing you more fun than you've had with the Ikon!

@rayygeorge, The additional bush is a great Idea, Mahindra should note this one and do it at least as an accessory.

I posted this an year ago, about this design flaw, Mud scatters everywhere, within the doors, and also to through the front bumper gaps it comes to the front too, making the maintenance as hard as possible.

I wish If I can find someone in Coimbatore to do this.

But, Thanks for posting this picture, which i could use as a blueprint. :-)

This is not my beast, but found it at Silver Jubilee workshop in Pune, during my last service session. Thought of sharing the pics. Personally, it didn’t please my eyes, though.

It should be in the weird & wacky mod jobs thread. the design concept is not bad but execution could have been far better. Heck, they have tried to make an SUV look like a sports coupe!

Watch the head light. Is it a projection head lamp in the original unit??

agbenny,The additional beading is made out of the door beading.
Also see the wheel arch photo. The mud splash through the front bumper is taken care by inserting black PVC sheet inside the arch and clamped properly.I found both mods working good in the recent rains in Kerala.

Speed-Gladiator, thats a nice pic.

I liked the wheel rims they provided earlier on the Scorpio which looked a bit like alloys. Wonder why they decided to replace them with the wheel caps.

Well, cant say much about this, "skirts" for the SUV. They will be off at the first speedbreaker.

Thanks Ben,

Even I too have the same opinion as you about the wheel rim. These types came in to Scorpios when they have decided to go with 16" rims for the first time.
