You bet! I did not think much of it during the pre-purchase phase. But now as I use it, I realise the kind of muck the rear tyres kick out. Any rainy day and soon the rear screen goes Opaque. I have to use it from time to time, even when the front ones are kept parked.

Thanks, Parwath. I guess i would miss the rear wiper, but can't be helped, i guess. I took delivery on Saturday, and in the evening it rained like crazy. Didn't throw up as much muck as i thought it would.

As for the bunny tooth, as long as the bumper remains unpainted, i may think of covering it.

Thanks, pal. It seemed very much a logical upgrade, although i knew i wanted one even before i bought the Ikon.

I plan on doing up the bumpers later, but not at the dealer. An initial estimate from them turned out to be quite expensive. Will get it done by Sejal Motors, my regular FNG.

Why LX? Well, this is on a company car lease, so i had an upper limit i couldn't cross.

Thanks Vikram. I would definitely put up an ownership report once i have driven it around a bit. Initial impressions as of now are quite good.

Thanks to scorpio_fan, i already feel quite comfortable with the vehicle, despite upgrading from a sedan.

Congrats for the brand new beast in your life.

BTW, I have seen few Scorpio LXs in NCR with black (non-pained) side cladding, similar to those in SLE & VLX models (these come with body coloured side cladding). So, you get these in your region too... & if yes, you could have opted for that. I feel the black moulding gels well with the Grey shade that you have opted for.

I dont plan on getting claddings as they would need to drill the body for them. I plan on getting the bumpers painted later on.

Scorpio's these days come with 4 makes of tires depending on your luck- Bridgestone (mostly on VLX / Automatics), JK, Apollo, MRF. Apollo & MRF are A/T IIRC. Feedback-- what feedback?

The Ikon stays for now, so wifey can use it for a while, but owing to parking space issues, i may send it to Kerala so someone there can use it. However, that is still undecided.
