I had to sell mine when i was leaving my company as it was company-owned and leased. I have now moved to Brisbane, hence had to sell it with a heavy heart.

Congratulations Ajit on your new purchase. Happy motoring.

No, I didn't get any wheel covers for my beast. Tried a few from the used aftermarket in Kolkata, but they wouldn't fit perfectly. I have gotten used to it now. It doesn't look bad after a few days :-)

Looks superb! I see a spare tyre on the door, please share some more pics of the rear.

As for the facelift, was it easy, bolt on? I see the hood, bumper, grill headlights, ORVMs are different. Anything else I missed?

Yeah the rear tail lights and the spare wheel mounting. But I wouldnt suggest this modification as a flat tyre made me open my eyes to functionality rather than styling. Removal was easy but raising the tyre was a little bit tough and aligning the holes, tricky. All T-BHP Scorpio Owners with Pics of their SUV-img20140918wa0003.jpg

It looks much better with the wheel on the door, have you reinforced the door in any way ?

If a pulley mechanism can some how be rigged it would be easier to haul and align the tyre.

Yeah the door hinges have been modified for the additional weight. But that pulley system is a nice idea. Let me see if I can find one

Re: All T-BHP Scorpio Owners with Pics of their SUV

7th November 2014 marked 3 years completed of our Scorpio Sle ownership.

My wife and I have grown to dearly love our Scorp. He has been reliable and generally trouble free, not requiring excess maintenance or attention. Of course there are niggles now and then, usually solved by the ASC. Till now nothing major or serious.

We love our Scorp as we would love a faithful, loyal and mischievous dog!

As I love this truck so much, I decided to spend some money doing it up. I've put M&M OE alloys and a pair of Hella 700FFs. I also got wind protectors over the windows on the recommendation of another Scorpio owner, these have been very useful during the last monsoon.

Also got a 3M interior clean up done; getting all the deeply ingrained muck and dust out of the panels and seats fabrics. I didn't touch the outer body, as I believe these additives will harm the original paint.

Here are a few pics from a trip couple of weeks back to my son's farm plot near Hosur.

1. On the way to Thally (after the TVS 2 wheeler plant)

2. Same place, pic 2.

3. Another pic from across the road.

4. At my son's farm plot. My son's Duster is alongside.

5. Duster and Scorpio are pals. Looks like the crow is perched on my Scorp!

6. Closer shot of two successful SUV's in India.

Next year when my extended warranty expires, I will have to take a call on my next vehicle. My top 2 choices are XUV 5OO and New Scorpio.

Thanks for reading!

I totally agree with you ownership experience, although mine ended at about the halfway mark, as compared to yours.

Between, i believe i have some pics of my Scorp in the same place as Pic 1 which you had posted above. Was a leisurely drive along those routes.
