Hi All,

I am in the process of deciding on a new car and I am kind of inclined towards Scorpio (between Safari and Scorpio). I would like to know about the Mahindra Dealers and their contacts at Hyderabad.

Also please provide your inputs with respect to deals that many of you would have bargained for your Scorpio and I will try to get the same when I buy.

Thanks in advance.

Sudipta, dealers notwithstanding. I hope you'll make the right choice.
Dealers are imperative if the vehicle is troublesome!

@ROSHAN > Excellent pics. The Scorpio 4x4 looks really nice in its natural habitat(off road). One of the very rare, few offroad pics of a Scorpio in action.

Cheers,
J

Jay, it has to be noted that a Scorpio is NOT an off-road vehicle by design.
IMO, it is more of a cross over type.

However, many do trips to the godforesaken (but stunningly beautiful!) places in our country, where road is a metaphor or a figment of GOI's imagination!

Very true Anup. By design a Scorp is not an off-road vehicle at all. But what is to be noted is that when put through the paces, that are not very often, it came out with flying colours.

So, if you buy a 4x4 scorpio, then you can have absolute peace of mind that it will get you out of unexpected OR terrains if at all you encounter them during your drives..

LOL, gd, these are not so unexpected in the areas I love to travel! Hence the 4X4. So far, no reason for complaints.

Best looking Scorpio ever

I am sure that this has been discussed here earlier, but this one is the best looking Scorpio I have ever seen.

All T-BHP Scorpio Owners with Pics of their SUV-mahindrascorpios14.jpg

All T-BHP Scorpio Owners with Pics of their SUV-mahindrascorpios10.jpg

All T-BHP Scorpio Owners with Pics of their SUV-mahindrascorpios9.jpg

Found the details at this link:

Mahindra Scorpio SUV From India

I am sure either it belongs to a Bhpian or someone known?

Yes, this boy was here some time back.

Saw this the first and only time here. I reckon there is a thread that was running on these modification being done or something.

Need to search... no idea what key word to use!

(PS: Keywords: "Mighty muscular on steroids Scorpio"??? I would not be surprised if this vehicle was the one that prompted this name.)

This modded scorpio is from hyderabad. Its easy to spot it mostly on banjara hills area. Too massive for the road and other traffic.

I've seen this on the net a long time back. Kishan Lohia is the owner. Then I didn't notice and now here I saw an anomaly.

Did anybody notice that in the pic #: 1 & 3 the snorkel is on the RHS and in the Pic #:2 it is on the LHS.

Now are they two different identical Scorps? I don't think so..but..

This is one really well conceived and executed mods I have seen. The heart would be of a scorpio but nothing which reminds of a Scorp is visible on the body.
