Some pics of the Scorp taken during a trip to Mandarmoni (a beach destination in Bengal) last year. It was my maiden trip with the beast after purchasing it, and a memorable one. There have been a few changes, cosmetically, to the truck since then - notably, the window visors are now black, and the interiors have been spruced up.

no DISCRIMINATION of any sort buddies!
its just that the mHawk is used for my personal use, so i have taken the time & effort to add all the accessories. moreover, the mHawk is not subjected to rough treatment, like the CRDe.
the CRDe is used for my company use, its the roughie among the two! hence, i have kept it that way, a no-frill, a no-nonsense car. strictly meant to do its duty! which it does pretty well. infact, i respect the CRDe a lot, in its 1 lakhs plus journey, it has rarely seen paved city roads. it has always been admist non-existent roads at construction sites & highways- not the smooth GQ but to the remote places like the corners of maharashtra & gujrat. but till now it has not shown any signs of ageing. the body is perfect & engine runs as new. i gifted it new shoes 1 week back, on its second b'day!
the earlier tyres ran 1,10,000 kms! the kinds of roads it has been to, the tyre was pretty much in a terrible shape. i know that is risky but this car dint get the time to change her shoes! as i said, she is rarely in the city! she does not get time even for her routine services. but she has never complained. she has never broken down on above mentioned remote highways. she has never reminded us that we have skipped her past services! infact, she has never given us a reason to take her to the mahindra A.S.S.! hence, i respect her!

where i pamper the hawk, the CRDe gets all the beating & abuse! life's not fair!

Nice pics of your 2 Scorpios.
The CRDE looks pristine for a 1.1 Lac km vehicle! Very nicely maintained indeed. What tyres did you buy for it?

i was planning for bridgestone or MRF, but eventually settled for JK elanzo, the OE with my CRDe scorpio, considering this tyre held up for 1.1 lakh kms.

i urge 4wd scorpio users to post their more pics:-)) The 4wd badge and little ball at the back adds so much of ruggedness to otherwise may i dare calling it a car! 4wd scorpio is such a excellent tourer and if the need be a good offroader!!!

I am using JK Tyres too, but not Elanzo. Am using Brute 4x4. Pretty decent tyres. A bit noisy on tarmac, but they work well. Very nice off-road.

@anup saab: Again, great pics! Did you need to use 4H/4L in those terrains?

@anjan: Congrats on your new "Brute SUV" as you put it
