hi SYJ, good to see you are from God's own country too! also, there are very few white scorpios on this forum.
again, the same question to you: have you upsized the tyres, added spacers or its just the alloy wheel?
also, 146 kmph on kerela roads, isnt it risky?

SYJ,

Nice Scorp you have!! I liked your alloys too. One quick query- is your engine needle on the mid zone on the second pic? If so, I think yours is an crde 2.6, which should not heat up so much.

I dont think hes used any spacers, its again the alloys and looks much better than mine, the tyres being BS Duelers - i really tried to get Duelers but its all luck on this one matter with the Scorpios.

Does anyone know if the new Scorpio instrument cluster (as in SYJ's post above) can be fitted in the older Scorp? I currently have the old Ikon-style cluster.

i have not tried but i think it can be easily fitted as the shape and size is the same!
if at all you plan to go ahead with it, go for the red and white one which comes in the java brown/black colour mHAWKs, it looks damn good. others have the normal green ones which you see in the above pic.

Found some pictures of the WOLT in my archives.

Before someone jumps on me let me explain: This speed was done on a straight road, I could see at least 2 KM up front.

@ Rameswaram.

@ Get Surya:

"Nice Scorp you have!! I liked your alloys too. One quick query- is your engine needle on the mid zone on the second pic?"

The engine needle appears to cross the mid zone perhaps because of the angle of the shot, it its just below the mid line it should be OK?

Hi Ramkya, Nice pics. Regarding SYJs engine temp gauge, In Crde if the needle is touching half mark then i think there is a problem. As, I have observed that my Crde SLX the needle even in long runs(above 200km) would not cross 30 percentile of the given range. If it is parallax error then it is good, otherwise worth checking out.

mHawk's needle is always on the midpoint. I was initially concerned went to workshop and looked at other mHawks, it was almost the same for all of them. Then the supervisor gave me the info about the difference of the CRDE and mHawk engine temperatures!!

thats a great shot of the speedo-meter at 146 kms, just wanted to know how did the scorpio handle the bounce at this speed. i recently did a 125-128 kms on a straight road and found it to be very stable.

also there is something about the white which looks amazing, its funny how not too long back a white car would immediatly be categorized as a taxi but now its just class..
