Re: BOSS gets roof marker lights!!

Did you check up whether it is legal to use roof mounted red lights in India.I remember a high court order form Kerala limiting the use of becon lights only by ministers , high cout chef justice and some higher officials of the Govt. The cops can mistake the roof marker light with a red beacon.Me too thought of fixing the roof marker light but avoided .

Re: All T-BHP Scorpio Owners with Pics of their SUV

Hi Mupreti,

Thank you. I purchased these in US in NAPA Auto store-Des Moines, Iowa in person. The link is below, though

NAPA Online

Yes, the roof had to have 3 holes for each light drilled and packed with resin paste to avoid any water seepage. The resin was filled on top of the screws too to avoid any water retention. The resin can be removed easily by screw driver if required.

I really liked the looks of the car last night when the lights were on!

Thanks getsurya, I will check (and on ebay also, for the Hummer top lamps).

The only challenge is to prevent rusting in the humid weather of Mumbai once the holes are drilled.

Re: All T-BHP Scorpio Owners with Pics of their SUV

Scorpio owners. I have always like to macho feel and look of the Scorpio and find it befitting to my height and profile. As I am keen on now picking up an SUV shortly, obviously, I am interested in going in for this beauty and in white. But my wife is gaga over the Safari. One reason she hates the scorpio is because of the rear lights. The way it creeps up to the roof almost

Is there any way to do away with those lights or mod it. I have seen those tacky silver frames that can be fitted around them, but as I said, I find it tacky. The other option I ave thought of is to paint the upper half

Any other suggestions are welcome, or even better some pics

Hi you can remove the upper part and can get it filled and painted or better still paint the upper part. Will try to search for some pics of the old gen Scorpio which only has the lower (functional) part of the tail lights.

On the contrary, that scorpio was poorly shod with the wrong tyres, and the terrain was very very slippery.

I chuckle at the comments left on the youtube video complaining about the driver.

Thisis my own Scorpio and it does these things with ease. As redliner said, the stock Bridgestone Dueller tyres had almost no grip on vegetation.

Hi 1100D, Time to take our words back with apologies .
But the video certainly makes the terrain look not so formidable.
