raj - looks like you are interested in upgrading your wheels but I dont think thats possible as the tyretronics module is attatched with the stock alloys[not sure though].If its true its really bad and must be renamed as traptronics.

yes, i think its true because even the mahindra salesperson told me about this. but also, somebody on this forum told me its possible though he exactly dint know how.
when i went through the owner's manual, they have illustrated the procedure to remove the sensor from the stock alloys though they have cautioned that its very sensitive and must be done with care. so fitting the sensors on aftermarket alloys is possible but it must be done with care. so i am a bit reluctant because i dont want to sacrifice the TPMS for alloys.
maybe i should ask the service centre for some help!

Raj,

Good to see this thread, Best of luck, lets hope to see more of scorpio's.

I still dont understand why to people disagree with these kind of threads. I agree that there are garages, but what discussion can u do there?.

I feel that these kind of dedicated threads would help one and all to know about a certain vehicle when they plan to buy.

Rather than searching garages , these threads will have complete coverage of the cars they intend to buy.

Keep it going Raj

Hope to see more scorpios in this thread.

As a person passionate for vehicles i support such threads which shows a particular vehicle. It wont harm anybody if the pics are posted again even though there are garages.

raj_5004, if you can somehow rip out that unnecessary metal / paper / whatever inside the bucket (with the words Sony Xplod 1000W) in the boot area and provide some wiring and cooling coils, that would make a nice beer cooler. As someone called it, good for the occasional daaru car-o-bar!

Great looking Scorpio - have to hand it to that shade / paint colour which looks cool on SUVs.

i have seen your scorp in other threads too and must say, i never felt a base model scorp can look this good. the alloys and front guard look cool. and if you remember, i even asked you the details of this guard in some thread. i am planning to get them fitted in my scorp too...
