any idea on when it will be launched. i remember reading somewhere that it will be a six speed auto but cosidering costs, i think mahindra will offer a 5 speed version.
also, i am very keen to know how mahindra prices the scorpio hybrid after honda ridiculously priced the civic hybrid at 21 lakhs!
here are the pics of the A/T mHAWK scorpio:

GD,

That looks neat. When you ride the hills, if it can be bolted on that would be ideal, no hazzles withe the cops. Like on the fibre bumper, it's not possible, it has to be on the roof or on the crash guard.

Yours look groovey, do you have it on all the time, no problems with the cops?

I do not have it on all the time, I've installed it to be there when I need it. Till date I've not had problems with the cops since I don't switch it on. I always drive in the city on fog lamps. If need be then switch on the HLs that are equipped with HIDs.

No offence taken whatsoever my friend! My intention was to increase the count and not get the feeling of being left out

My pics will be up soon, as soon as I finish with the minor maintainence and do the 'spit & poilish'.

One specific question to Raj or anybody with the MHawk. (may be slightly OT)

I understand that the new scorpios have a provision for speakers in the front door (dont have it in mine). could you pls. let me know what exact size component speakers will fit into this space.

If possible pls. post a pic.

thanks

All new Scorpios have this provision, not just the mHawks.
Mine is an Aug 2006 2.6 DX CRDe, 4WD and came with this. Speakers are 5 inch Blaupunkt. A special spacer ring is required as there is not enough depth in that mounting position. (The speaker magnet assembly interferes with the window glass).
