Quick way to find which stock is good to enter

During market crashes one quick graphical way to find which stock has the most potential in terms of climbing back you can use this page.

Stock Tracker - Render custom charts

What you need to do
1.The list of stocks you have your radar on (NSE Codes).
2.Paste this list in the search box
3.Click on the "Dy Vs 6m" button.
In a single page you have all the scripts rendered side by side indicating the days fall Vs 6 months move. You can easily see where the stock stands today compared to its past 6 months growth.

Here it he list I maintain. i.e. some of the stocks I track + NIFTY list
(you can paste the same)
BPCL,DABUR,LT,ONGC,RPL,ICICIBANK,CENTRALBK,SIMPLEX ,RELIANCE,NDTV,BLUEDART,DIVISLAB,RNRL,TTML,IFCI,NA GARFERT,BALRAMCHIN,RCOM,IDEA,REL,MYSORECEM,ACC,GBN ,JPHYDRO,DHAMPURSUG,SAKHTISUG,SUZLON,AIRDECCAN,JET AIRWAYS,BHARTIARTL,INDIABULLS,SUNTV,ABB,AMBUJACEM, BHEL,GAIL,GLAXO,GRASIM,HDFC,HDFCBANK,HEROHONDA,HIN DPETRO,HINDUNILVR,ITC,MARUTI,MTNL,NATIONALUM,PNB,R ANBAXY,SIEMENS,STER,SUNPHARMA,TATAMOTORS,TATAPOWER ,TATASTEEL,PUNJLLOYD,JINDALSTEL,DLF,

Look at the quality of these tv channels....

The madness went to such an extent, pointed out an equity analyst, that “at a TV channel I was invited to speak, the anchor requested me to refer to the ‘panvati bull’ and say that it was responsible for the downfall.” Of course he refused to oblige.

Which online account you use ? I use ICICIDirect and it's pathetic, everytime there is some activity (Fall/rise) in the market, their site goes to sleep, at least this is my experience in the last 3 days.

What do you feel, is it the same for every online securities like HDFC , Kotak etc?
Which one has a better response, lesser charges and good interface and utilities? Pls share your experiences.

I use Kotak. Its no great shakes, but better than ICICI and HDFC(know people who use both).
In Kotak if site goes down, I call up their office and they do trades through phone(including money transfer)

Same here. But I use HDFC. The online transactions was fairly OK. Y'day morning 10.05 am I was placing the orders and the portal was updating quite fast. Of course, I have 100 Mbps network in office.

Whenever the system goes kaput, then I will do the phone trading.

http: // in . finance . yahoo . com / (spaces to enable you guys / gals to see the proper uri).

If you log in, you can create multiple portfolios and do wonders.

If you use Mozilla / firefox, you can install the stock ticker plugin to have a ticker exclusively for the shares you want. Again, you can pick the info you want - I use current price, and days range for NSE.

Future Capital lists on Friday 1st March. And they start refunding from 29th to 31st Jan.

I guess we should start quietly tomorrow since the US markets have dipped again last week. So we have to wait and watch how the Asian markets start. But still I am not too optimistic about tomorrow atleast.
