Markets have hit rock bottom now. RPL @ 414. i am guessing its a good time to buy now and sell when it returns to 430 within a few hours/days.

yes its dangerous but everyone is saying that RPL will give returns in long run. So if we have to retain the stock for an extended period, then also it shouldnt be a problem. Also, i am thinking that HNI's/QFB will not like stock hovering below their buy price, so ADA and his MFs will buy to prop the price up.

BTW - ICICI Bank heading towards 1000 breach...its rt now @ 1010.

I would wait till today evening and if the down trend is still continuing, then wait till tomorrow's opening.

The sensex is going down down and down. The RPL stocks have plummetted to 397 as of now. Think sensex is testing 16500 levels right now. If this breaches, then god help us.

As per the fundamentals, RPower when compared to NTPC is highly over-price. If you are in for a longish stint with a pwer based share, go in for NTPC. Safe and secure as compared to RPower.

Thanks man. I already have NTPC/Powergrid/Suzlon in power sector. But all are in red right now. I will have to wait.

I sold a lot of stock today at loss, and invested that into some select large caps which were hammered today
Suzlon/airtel/Powergrid/
So finally, for this financial year I am now in red instead of green.
Thankfully the loss is small.
Will pick up more stocks if tomorrow things crash
Otherwise will sell what I got today.
I presume this is called "swing trading?"

Hadn't subscribed to the Reliance Power IPO. Bought in at 390 this morning. I think Reliance Capital will be supporting the share price in the coming months (similar to what happened to RPL a few months back). Will exit it then.

If you haven't heard back until today evening, there is a good likelihood that you have not been allotted any share. You should thank your stars.
Refund process has started and people have started getting cheques back.

Guys, olease use the correct abbreviations - RPL is the ticker for Reliance Petroleum Limited - the Mukesh Ambani company. Reliance Power is an Anil Ambani co. Please use Rpower or RelPower while abbreviating Reliance Power.

My advice to you will be to stay away from stock market for atleast next 6months or so.It may crash to 14-15k level easily now as sentiments are really down.
trust me, then loss will not be small!!
